Investigators have managed to identify the woman who was found dead in a Suva guesthouse yesterday.

Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Henry Brown says that after following some leads, the team managed to contact the victims son who is in his early 20’s.

ACP Brown says the victims son has come forward to confirm her identity.

Investigators continue with their line of investigations as well as the hunt for the suspect.

ACP Brown says they will await the post morterm examination results which will determine the cause of death.

The report was lodged by the security officers who said the victim was last seen checking in to the guesthouse with another man.
