The woman who was found floating in the Suva harbor on Saturday afternoon died as a result of drowning.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says this was confirmed following a post morterm examination.

Naisoro says a relative had come forward yesterday to identify the deceased who is from Lokia, Rewa.

The woman’s file will be forwarded for inquest once investigations are complete.
