A woman of Nanuku settlement in Vatuwaqa who allegedly hit her husband with a cement block has been remanded by the Suva Magistrates Court.

The woman is charged with one count of grievous harm.

The accused was drinking with some friends at a neighbour’s place.

When she returned home she allegedly had an argument with her husband and as a result, allegedly hit him with a cement block.

Her husband who is a Security Officer reported the matter to Police.
