It will be a lifetime opportunity for Whalley Fonmanu, after being picked the winner of the GoldFM/ Bula FM Rugby Competition.

Fonmanu will fly to Japan to watch the match between the Flying Fijians and the Australian Wallabies in September.

The 51-year-old bank officer says it will also be the first time for him to set foot on Japan soil.

Fonmanu who made numerous calls in order to be part of the promotion says he is a frequent listener of Gold FM.

“I can’t remember the number of calls I’ve done. So I guess it’s the blessing I get for listening to Gold FM and being there all the time, I mean the station for me personally when I was told that I won, man I mean, I am so happy.”

He won two game tickets, two return air tickets and $1,000 spending money provided by FBC.
