Overseas donors, who are currently assisting flood victims, say that those in the West are in dire need of food.

Yaadein Vision Australia – Director – Bobby Mishra says there are still some flood prone areas where people have not received any form of assistance.

Mishra says their priority is to distribute food rations to those badly affected.

“Now that Fiji has undergone through a huge flood, we have seen that our role is also to relief food and stationeries as well. Representatives of Yaadein Vision are Australia and New Zealand as well. We have visited many places and have found out that people are in real need.”

The team has already distributed 22 tonnes of food supplies to people in the West.
