The family of two of the victims, Sanaila Ruitoka and Atilai Ruitoka, who died in the horrific road accident in Nabou, Sigatoka on Saturday have today claimed that some of the belongings of the deceased are missing.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Sakeasi Radibi says they discovered this after Police dropped off the items of the deceased yesterday.

Radibi claims that mobiles phones and money belonging to the two dead are missing.

He also says the wedding band belonging to Sanaila is also missing.

Radibi says it is very disrespectful if someone did take the items from the scene.
Radibi is calling on the public to return these items if they have them as it holds sentimental value to the family.

Meanwhile, Police spokesperson Jokatama Qio confirms that they have not received any official compliant from the family.

The fatal accident occurred on Saturday claiming the lives of 6 people.
