We will fight terrorism: Ratu Inoke

Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola has assured Fiji’s commitment to working with the international community to eliminate terrorism.

Responding to the shootings in Paris France, Ratu Inoke says Fiji mourns with France and all other nations where bombings and attacks have taken place, killing and wounding hundreds of people.

“As Foreign Minister I also wish to stress Fiji’s solidarity to the French government and our absolute commitment to join governments everywhere in fighting the scourge of terrorism. The international community will not be cowed by these cowardly attacks. On the contrary it has made us more determined to stare down the terrorist threat and Fiji will work with the rest of the international community to defeat the challenge whatever the cost and however long it takes.”

He adds Fiji stands in solidarity with those who are grieving the loss of loved ones.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Muslim League has condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris France which has killed at least 132 people.
