“We can do justice on the role of the opposition, we have a formidable job ahead of us, experience line up on the other side, so will have to keep them on their toes.”

Opposition MP, Mosese Bulitavu, believes they will improve from where they left off before the election.

“Now we have more depth in the opposition, in terms of sharing of portfolios and responding to Ministerial statements, I believe we have more depth to take on the Fijian government.”

However, Lands Minister, Ashneel Shudhakar, says Opposition MP’s should debate on facts and stop making false statements.

“If you talked about depth and experience obviously the government side has got a lot of experience and depth and everyone is qualified to their respective fields and fire.”

The Opposition Members are ready to provide constructive criticism on government policies to ensure that Fijians get what they deserve.
