We are ready to attack the title: Kolinisau

Vodafone Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau says his side is physically and mentally ready for the Dubai tournament which kicks off tonight.

Kolinisau says the players are excited and looking forward to defending the Dubai title.

“We are really excited about the group we have got and body seems to be in the right mode and looking forward to this weekend and we want to defend the series like we did it last year we want to defend it by attacking the series again.”

Meanwhile, South Africa is expected to be one of Fiji’s biggest rivals in their bid to win the title once again.

Captain Phillip Snyman says the team has prepared well and will be taking each game at a time.

“We need to pitch up at every single tournament and teams now days, you can’t take any games for granted so exactly we only going to focus on the first game and then build it up towards the end of the tournament so yes we are very happy of this squad.”

The Dubai 7s kicks off tonight and Fiji’s first match is against Canada at 7.52pm after which they play Wales at 11.36pm.

The team’s last pool match is against Argentina at 4.48am tomorrow.
