Despite the ongoing disputes within the Social Democratic Liberal Party, leader Sitiveni Rabuka believes they are in good shape in the lead up to the General Election.

When asked by FBC News if the ongoing party conflict will somehow hinder the party’s future plans, Rabuka says the difference in opinion raised by some member’s shows true democracy.

Rabuka says they will continue to do whatever is best for them.

“No I think it is a very good indication of the freedom of expression, we have within the party which we encourage people to embrace.”

Rabuka says it is healthy when members express their opinions on issues relating to the party.
