Water woes to end for Vatiyaka residents in Ba

Close to 433 people living in Vatiyaka, Ba, will soon have access to 24/7 water supply.

The Water Authority is carrying out extension work at Vatiyaka which will improve the current infrastructure capacity and sustainability, enhance the supply of clean and safe water and eliminate the shortage of water during drought.

The work involves laying of pipes, with proper bedding and backfill material.

It also included the installation of an air valve key and a 4inch sluice valve.

Work began last month and is scheduled to be completed by the end of February.

The project will cost over $160, 000.
