The Water Authority has been able to normalize water supply to ninety-percent of areas affected by the Waila water shutdown from last weekend.

WAF says they’re also working at normalizing supply in other affected areas.

As a result, WAF will transfer additional water tanks from the restored areas to the intermittent supply and no water supply areas as a temporary back-up supply for customers.

Water carting trucks will also be supplying water in these affected areas.

WAF says customers living along Nausori Town down to Bau Island and Kiuva Village will also experience low water pressure from today to Sunday during off peak hours.

People living in these areas are advised to store enough water for necessary use.
