Residents of Labasa who have been facing water disruptions since last Friday can now breathe a sigh of relief as the Water Authority of Fiji restores water supply in their area.

The WAF says their engineers worked through the night to repair a major break in Labasa’s water main that disrupted supplies to its customers.

The authority says water delivery has returned to normal for customers living in the lower levels of the town while those living in the upper levels will receive water later in the evening.
