Water levels at the Waimanu River and Tamavua Water Treatment Plant are at critical level.

Water Authority of Fiji Acting General Manager Operations Sekove Uluinayau says this is due to the lack of rain.

He says their divers have been deployed to attend and clear suspected blockages in the pump water wells at the Waimanu Water Pumping Station, in Sawani.
