Contractors carting water in areas affected by the dry weather spell could lose their contracts if good customer service is not practised.

Water Authority of Fiji, Chief Executive, Opetaia Ravai says customers in Ba and Labasa have raised complaints against the attitude of drivers.

Ravai says if these driver continue with this, they will be dealt with.

He is also urging the public to lodge complaints with the Authority, if drivers refuse to service water or make false promises.

Meanwhile, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki are mostly affected by the prolonged dry weather condition.

Some areas in the Northern division are also feeling the effects of the dry spell.
