Water cuts in Suva and Nausori corridor

Parts of Suva, Nasinu and the Rewa Delta areas will be experiencing water supply disruptions today at 1pm to 7pm.

This is necessary to allow the FEA and the contractors Current Electric Company to install the Automatic Transfers Switch for the standby generator at Waila Treatment Plant.

Areas affected include Elevated areas within Davuilevu Housing, Farm Rd and along Nakasi Housing.

Elevated areas along Makoi and Tuirara, Elevated areas along Kalabu, Valelevu, Caubati, Tacirua East, Khalsa Rd, Sakoca, Tacirua Settlement,Dokanaisuva & Savutalele, Elevated areas in Sawani including ACS School, Duilomaloma Rd, Elevated areas in Dilkusha and Lelean School, Lakena 1 & 2 Hills and Buiduna areas, Ovea, Bau Island, Cautata, Dreketi, Noco, Buretu, Tokatoka, Dravo and Nakelo, Dibulu, Lokia, Toga, Burebasaga and Rewa Delta areas.

Residents living in these areas are requested to store enough water to last them for more than 7 hours.

Supply is expected to be restored on tomorrow morning.
