The Water Authority of Fiji is urging residents living within Korovou Town and nearby areas to store water immediately.

This is after an FEA power blackout occurred in Korovou today, which has affected the water supply system.

High areas along these places will experience low pressure and intermittent supply and customers are advised to use water sparingly during this period.

Supply is expected to be restored after the FEA has normalized power and the reservoirs filled to an average level.
