Water challenges in the Pacific tops agenda in Korea

Water Authority of Fiji chief executive Opetaia Ravai will elaborate on Fiji’s water challenges at the 7th Annual Water Forum in Korea.

Ravai, who is also the Chairman of the Pacific Water and Waste Water (PWWA), plans to highlight the challenges faced by the regional countries with special emphasis on the Fiji experience.

During the forum, Ravai will also be signing a Memorandum of Understanding between PWWA and the Caribbean Water & Waste Water stakeholders.

He says the purpose of the MOU is to create a platform for cooperation between the two regions to more formally facilitate exchanges of experience, expertise and knowledge.

The Forum will be held on Monday.
