The Water Authority will be meeting with the Fiji Hoteliers association and various municipal town councils next week.
WAF Board Director Kamal Goundar says this is to ensure that necessary measures are being undertaken to ensure water is being used wisely.

“We will also be meeting with the relevant councils, the other developers and customers of water authority, the major ones and start discussing in terms of water conservation and necessary measures they need to put in place.”
Meanwhile, the Water Authority has also identified temporary water sources which can be used to assist in the coming months should the current dry weather spell continue.
This as it has been confirmed that out of the forty-five water sources nationwide, nineteen have reached critical level.
