The Water Authority of Fiji will begin its two month campaign tomorrow to share with Fijians the importance of saving water.
WAF will also be visiting towns and cities to share the value of water, how it is changing all our lives and at what costs.
Chief Executive Opetaia Ravai says with the possibility of a prolonged dry spell, the campaign encourages every household to save water.
‘’Please take advantage of it. It’s an opportunity for you to come and listen to the facts of water worldwide, national facts as well and as iv mentioned the number one global crisis right now is water crisis so we as part of this globe need to be aware of it as well and some of the challenge that is out there we need to be informed and also its a forum for them to come and talk to us and ask questions and clarify issues so I would encourage everyone who is near this centers where we will be having this road shows and presentations to attend. It’s very informative and very educational’’.
The road show begins tomorrow at the Civic Centre in Suva, and on Thursday at the Nausori Catholic Mission from 2pm to 4pm.
