The New Zealand government is providing more than $800,000 to train Water Authority of Fiji staff in water and waste water management.
180 staff will benefit from the training which begins this week and will run throughout the remainder of the year.
New Zealand Deputy High Commissioner Amanda Vercoe says they’re delighted to support WAF’s practical training needs as the Authority continues to implement a series of ambitious and large-scale infrastructure projects throughout Fiji.
The series of training modules will be delivered by Opus International Consultants.
