The Water Authority has been receiving positive feedbacks from the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association members in Nadi and Lautoka during the disruption period.
Sofitel Fiji Chief Engineer, Viliame Tuinaceva says the authority has been responding well to water carting requests.
“We’re getting the trucks and the truck drivers have been very consistent with the delivery. By the early hours of Saturday till today conversion with our team and all I am told is people doing water carting have been very helpful.”
Meanwhile, a police investigation is underway into reports that water tanks are being damaged in some parts of the Western Division.
This after the Water Authority lodged complaints on the issue from the Waiyavi area in Bulileka, Calcutta and Kaunitoni Street in Lautoka.
