The Immigration Department has denied claims made by the Australian Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton earlier this week while rescinding Prakash’s Australian citizenship, had said by law Prakash was a citizen of Fiji

Immigration Director Nemani Vuniwaqa has assured everyone that Prakash cannot enter the country for the fact that he is a child of a Fiji citizen.

Vuniwaqa says overseas claims made regarding Prakash citizenship is not true

“I have not spoken, not met or corresponded with any Australian government officials whether it’s the minister or at director level or whether it is from the Australian Immigration officials, No we haven’t met or even receive any phone call from them.”

Vuniwaqa is adamant the Department along with other agencies will do whatever necessary to ensure the security of the nation remains intact.
