Vunivere up for major electrification project

A major rural electrification project has been approved by the Fiji Electricity for people living in Vunivere in Seaqaqa.
FEA’s Board Chair, Dakshesh Patel says this project was approved this week.
He adds that work on the rural electrification project will commence accordingly.

“Our Rural Electrification Scheme is at the highest this year and we are expanding that – and to do this kind of social obligation is very essential for the Authority.”
Patel says the project will also roll out in other parts of Vanua Levu.
The Government has set aside $42.6 million towards Rural Electrification Projects around the country.
