With pre-polling starting tomorrow, voters in pre-poll communities are urged to text their voter number to 1500 for their voting details.
Fijian Elections Office Acting Director Strategic Development and Communications, Edwin Nand says voters can also check their website for pre-poll schedules or even the newspaper.
Nand adds that a number of FEO pre-poll teams left Suva this morning in order to conduct pre-poll in various islands in the Eastern division.
” Voters who maybe in pre-poll areas if you believe you’re in a pre-poll area please check your dates and times for when pre-polling teams will be in your communities because if you miss out on that opportunity, you will not able to vote again because the teams will not come back.”
Meanwhile, 218 pre-polling staff for the Eastern division will be boarding six vessels from today with the last one to leave on Tuesday.
Two police officers will accompany each team that is traveling out for pre-polling for safety and security reasons.
