Elections Supervisor, Mohammed Saneem says they have been encouraged by the number of people receiving their education material regarding the September 17th election.
Saneem says the team visited Lami earlier today and gave out voter education material to villages and settlements.
“There are some members of the public who have some questions and these are the questions we have been answering for them in terms of how votes will be conducted. At this point in time because this is the first exposure to the election materials we believe that a lot of questions that are coming from the members of the public are actually dealt with by our team here through our education materials and we guide them through the process.”
The team is currently at Vashist Muni Primary in Navua.
It will also travel to Sigatoka today.
