The Drifters Volleyball club has been blamed for vandalising a Mosque in Makoi.

The club’s name was spray painted on the walls…and the Suva Volleyball Federation has stepped in claiming the Drifters have a history of rebellion.

The club name and the volleyball are evidence enough for the Suva Volleyball Federation.

Suva Volleyball secretary Viliame Katia says this is the last straw in a string of incidents involving players from Makoi but their previous acts of rebellion have always been sports related.

“To see that players come up with such activities and to be part of it is very disturbing.”

Drifters coach Manasa Nukuvou refused to answer our questions.
