Vodafone Fiji is ready to once again launch its Christmas in the Park celebration to kick start the festive season leading up to Christmas and the New Year.

Vodafone Fiji is ready to once again launch its Christmas in the Park celebration to kick start the festive season.

Vodafone Chief Executive Ronald Prasad says families can look forward to witnessing the lighting of the biggest Christmas tree in Fiji which will be held at My Suva Park in Nasese, Suva.

Prasad says there will be a number of groups that will be performing, singing Christmas carols and live band entertainment.

“What we want to do is invite all Fijians that are living close by to come out to My Suva Park and the whole idea is for them to come part take in an evening of bliss to witness the lighting of the biggest Christmas tree. We will have a live band and there will be a number of groups who will be singing the Christmas carols here. There will obviously be a short formality after which we will invite the Chief guest, the Attorney General and the Minister of Economy to light up the Christmas tree.”

The event will be held tomorrow evening.
