Delaitoga, Taivou and Nukuloa villages in Naitasiri is still flooded. This was confirmed to FBC News by Vunidawa Police.

Police Officer, Joape Kalinisei, says the two villages remain flooded, however flood waters is currently receding.

Kalinisei says in Nukuloa Village, five families are still at the evacuation centre and movement is restricted around the Vunidawa area as the Naluwai and Waima Bridges are still underwater.

Police say there is no water supply and electricity in many of the areas and villages.

The Sawani – Serea Highway is currently closed to traffic as parts of the highway near Nasavu village eroded yesterday.
