Villagers gets access to Walesi platform

Residents of Rabulu Village in Tavua and Drauniivi Village in Ra will now be able enjoy eight free to air channels offered on the Walesi Digital Platform.

Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum was in the Western Division to launch the Walesi Digital Platform in these two villages.

Sayed-Khaiyum while launching the Walesi platform in the two villages on Thursday said the villagers will now have access to a lot of information.

“When Fiji is playing rugby, or parliament debate all of you might want to come here and watch it because for us what’s really important is that you have access to information.”

He says people can also watch important programs in their community halls.

The Walesi Digital Platform has three FBC Channels, two Fiji TV channels, Mai TV, Hope Religious Channel and a Parliament Channel.

People can buy the Walesi set-top boxes from Vinod Patel, Tappoo’s Fiji, Rups Big Bear, Courts and Home and Leisure. KK FBC News
