VIL to reassign employees affected by Sigatoka fire

Vision Investment Limited says the fourteen employees who have been affected by the fire at its Courts Sigatoka Branch will be reassigned to other operations of the Company.
In a market announcement the Group says this will be in effect until the Sigatoka Branch operations resume.
The Company says that around mid-day yesterday, the fire that originated adjacent to its Branch spread through the buildings and destroyed the outlet.
It says the damage at this stage is expected to be extensive.
The Company adds the branch is insured for material damage and business interruption and any losses will be covered by Insurance.
The building is owned by an external landlord.
