Video piracy is rife in the country, a booming industry which continues to evade the law.

On Tuesday FBC News exposed one shop in Nadi and yesterday other operators were confronted.

One openly admitted, he was selling copies of the Fiji FACT.

At least three DVD outlets in Ba are selling FBC TV footage of the Fiji FACT and this was confirmed after a week of research.

Last Wednesday a complaint was lodged with Ba Police but they can’t raid the shops.

FBC News was told that this was a directive from headquarters and there has to be proof of exclusive rights before police can act.
