While tests are underway on the new machines, CEO Naisa Tuinaceva confirms no matter who’s driving – the owner cops the fine.
The onus are on the owners, meaning the owner will be taken to task, it’s going to be a bit argument, but end of the day the time it will take to prosecute the offenders it’s easy to deal with the owners because they will be responsible.
On the question of overseas machines having different settings or calibrations, Tuinaceva has confirmed, they’ve done all the necessary certification.
They are all certified with the department of weights of measures and they are all internationally recognized, these devices are very much aligned to these kind of requirements.
The testing ends this month and the equipment hits the roads soon after.
