Firefighters are currently struggling to put out a fire at Rifle Range in Vatuwaqa this hour.

FBC News can confirm one person was in the six bedroom property when the incident happened but managed to escape.

Only some clothes were saved while the rest of the household items have been destroyed in the fire.

The blaze started at around 11:30am and it is not yet known what caused it.
