The Fiji Roads Authority has completed work on various road sections in the Naitasiri province improving access for thousands.
General Manager Central Division, Aram Goes says these sites were programmed for upgrade to provide reliable all-weather access and improve journey times.
Goes says the work targeted specific hill sections that were difficult to access by buses, along with school frontages and several surrounding villages to treat dust nuisance.

He says drainage work involved improving existing under-road culverts and driveways to divert the road surface run-off away from the road carriageway.
