In the last four weeks, six new street lights have been knocked over. We have had around estimated fifteen thousand dollars worth of damage to bus shelters. This is frustrating and irritating.

Moore says street lights mostly get damaged when people over-speed and is urging drivers to drive safely.

He says the money used to fix damaged assets can be used for other projects therefore Fijians need to think twice before damaging or vandalizing the infrastructure.

The FRA CEO reiterates that perpetrators will be dealt with by police.
