Usamate calls on participants on the 16th ILO Asia Pacific Meeting in Bali

Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Jone Usamate has called on participants at the 16th ILO Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in Bali, Indonesia for the special recognition for Pacific Island States within the Asia Pacific Group.
Minister Usamate while addressing the meeting said that this was due to its location, size and vulnerabilities.
The Minister stated the importance of building an inclusive future with decent work and sustainable development in the Asia and Pacific Region.
He also acknowledged the challenges that remain in realising this in particular the providing of quality jobs.
Usamate also added that development cooperation is the key to achieving decent work and sustainable development.
