US general officers visit Fiji

A group of seventeen US flag and general officers from the National Defence University in Washington, DC visited Fiji earlier this week.

The aim of this educational tour was to learn more about how other nation integrated elements of nation power to address national and regional threats and opportunities.

During their visit, they met with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces leaders at Queen Elizabeth Barracks followed by a dinner at the Officers Mess.

They also visited the historic WWII gun battery at Momi Bay and had a guided tour of the Fiji national Museum.

The group will continue on to Australia, Singapore, and Hawaii.

Upon their return to Washington DC, the group will discuss their experiences with the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff.
