Fiji Trades Union Congress President Daniel Urai was stopped at the Nadi International Airport this morning.

Urai was scheduled to fly to China but was stopped by Immigration officers.

He is currently under bail for a charge of urging political violence and was given permission by the court to travel to China for the International Labour Organization conference.
i was held by the Immigration at their office and told i was on the watch list which had not been cleared. I gave them the court order and the immigration officer and the police officer both then allowed me to check in.

However – he told FBC News after going through check-in, he was approached again and escorted out of the departure lounge.
