UOF alumni lending a helping hand

The University of Fiji alumni has been assisting year 12 and year 13 students prepare for final examinations.
Vice Chancellor Professor Prem Misir says the group assisted one hundred students about two months ago as part of the after school enrichment program.
Dr Misir says this will continue next year.
“We want to continue that and I am even encouraging alumni group do that one next year nearer to the year 12 and year 13 exam and many be in the middle of the year you can throw something there to bring them something closer to that point so our alumni group will be going to be very active.”
Meanwhile the University of Fiji’s fully fledged campus for medical students will open its doors in Samabula from February next year.
$4.5 million is being invested in the completion of the building in Samabula.
