Vodafone Fiji is ready to once again launch its Christmas in the Park celebration to kick start the festive season leading up to Christmas and the New Year.

More than 10,000 people are expected to converge at the My Suva Park for the annual lighting of the Christmas tree at 8pm on Wednesday.

Acting Chief Marketing Officer, Shailendra Prasad says this years event will be unique and different with new concepts.

Prasad says there have been new lighting and unique sculptures and artifacts that bring out the essence and highlight the significance of Christmas.

Free bus service has been organized from the Flea Market to My Suva Park from 3.30pm to 6pm.
