“After the audit this year we have allocated funds to pay University fees for two of our visual impaired members. We have done renovations for our member’s home for accessibility – to support members and give them equal accessibility”.

Home-Care Independent Sales and Marketing Manager Hantaf Albert says more attention is needed to sustain the necessities of the needy group in society.

She believes the funds will be put to good use.

“I believe these funds will go into supporting the disable community with whatever needs arises along the way, in terms of transport and development – in terms of professional development such as education and we are very happy to support that”.

The UBPF is optimistic about getting more sponsors in the build-up to the awards night, on the 18th of March, 2020.
