Two unionist released, Felix Anthony and others remain in custody

The National Union of Workers official Shiu Lingam and Fiji Nurses Association General Secretary Salanieta Matiavi have been questioned and released.
However, Police Acting Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Bitukula Waqanui says Fijian Teachers Association General Secretary Paula Manumanuitoga still remains in custody.
The three were taken in for questioning on Monday for allegedly breaching the law.
Meanwhile, FTUC General Secretary Felix Anthony is still being questioned at the CID Headquarters.
Anthony was arrested from the FTUC HQ yesterday afternoon for allegedly breaching the Public Order Act.
Waqanui confirms the 28 people who were arrested in Lautoka yesterday for allegedly gathering and refusing to disperse from the WAF Depot also remain in custody.
