Police have confirmed that the two students who allegedly attempted to take their own lives on Monday night are still recovering in the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.

Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms that the third student, a 13 year old boy has passed away.

All 3 year EIGHT primary school students reside in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

Sokomuri re-iterated and is pleading with parents and guardians to be alert and keep a close watch on their children.

He adds that with Term 3 known for all end of year examination, parents need to continue to encourage their children, talk to them and accept what they are capable of achieving.

Police investigations are continuing.
