Two students have been granted bail by the Nadi Magistrates court this afternoon, for their alleged involvement in a sexual assault case that went viral on social media.

The duo were granted bail with a sum of one thousand dollars each with sureties. They have been ordered not to leave the county.

The first accused, a seventeen-year-old has been charged with one count of abduction of a girl below the age of eighteen-years and one count of defilement between the age of thirteen and eighteen years.

The second accused also a seventeen-year-old has been charged with one count of trafficking of obscene publication.

The case will be recalled on the 10th of January, 2018.
