Two suspects alleged to be involved in two robberies in the Southern Division have been arrested and are now in police custody.

One robbery occurred at the residence of a business woman while the second occurred at a service station during the past week.

Also recovered are assorted items believed to have been stolen.

The two are currently being questioned by police.

Police Chief of Operations ACP Henry Brown says this is the outcome of the recently appointed taskforce who are now vigorously investigating serious cases of aggravated robberies and theft.

He says resources have been pooled together so we are able to efficiently attend to reports in a timely manner as well as investigating undetected cases.
