Police are currently investigating the cause of an accident that happened in Tavua earlier this morning.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the accident is possibly due to speeding.

Two people were treated and sent home following the accident.

Naisoro confirms the vehicle allegedly went off-road, due to the bad weather.

The report was attended by the Tavua traffic officers.
