Dutt escaped from the Nadi Magistrates court in December last year.

He had also escaped from the Suva High court in April 2017.

Dutt was convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery and was sentenced in absentia to 15 years imprisonment.

He was later arrested in May after a team of police officers foiled a robbery at a warehouse, located along the Nadi Back Road.
