The court heard that between January and May, 2010, Vunisea and Halafi facilitated the processing of false payments of over $30,000 to Professional Stationeries in abuse of the authority of their office.

High court Judge Justice Salesi Temo said that their actions caused monetary loss to the Public Works Department.
