Two men are dead following an accident along the Kings Road last night.

The two victims aged thirty-two and thirty-five years were travelling in a vehicle driven by a thirty-two-year-old man of Natovi.

It is alleged the driver lost control of the vehicle near Viwa in Tailevu and as a result, it collided with a five-tonne truck travelling from the opposite direction.

Three other passengers who were also travelling in the same vehicle including the driver are admitted at the CWM Hospital in Suva.

A fourth victim was treated at the Korovou Hospital and discharged.

The road death toll currently stands at 56 compared to 50 for the same period last year.
